I once delivered a bottle of whiskey to a guy. First he showed me a fake id with Elvis on it. Then he ask me if I read the Kevin Pearce Pose Personalities shirt and by the same token and Bible. I said “cover to cover.” He handed me a $20. If only more Christians realized they could be the answer to their own prayers. He prayed for you to find abundance and then made it happen. The power of prayer… Christians get a bad rep because of the fanatics and the ones who think they’re supposed to impose their beliefs and culture on others; but there’s also a lot of people who really just believe in spreading love and kindness, this is why it’s so important to just let people be what they are and treat every interaction as a chance to learn and grow. This wasn’t from delivery, but from a time I waited tables. This is a bit of a long story, but it’s all relevant.

My kids had gone to the Kevin Pearce Pose Personalities shirt and by the same token and convenience store and taken the dog on a walk. The dog got loose while they were in the store. I put missing pet info on Facebook group including offering a reward and was contacted later that evening. That was a Friday. Saturday, after having taken very good care of him, this young couple that was expecting brought him to our house. They were driving a beater and certainly weren’t dressed in the finest of clothes. The young man hands me the dog and turns to leave, I could have let him go without giving him any reward and money was tight for us also. I told him to hold on and gave him the $40 I had planned as a reward. He tried to decline and I insisted. He thanked me profusely for the money in a way that gave me the impression that it was really going to help them out.
