Looking at changing jobs in a few months as my contract is up, kinda difficult to find a more secure one than I have even as a casual, but impossible to find one that would pay less too…. But I couldn’t care less with what’s happening at the moment, we’re keeping this house for the long term and they will increase eventually. Interestingly, rents have increased in our area by a fair chunk since we last rented a year ago. We were paying 560/month for our two bed, now most reasonable 2 beds are 650-700. Spooky… Obviously needs to drop more before it could actually be considered adorable housing. Maybe in Tokyo or NYC, but this place? the house that was placed on a sub devided section where the entire section sold for 250k across the road from me just sold for 650k 2 days ago, the house i was trying to buy for 240k which sold for 260k is currently on the market for 450k.
