ONLY IN MORE RECENT HISTORY HAS IT BEEN TWISTED AROUND A LITTLE BIT TO WHERE IT CAN BE BENEFICIAL TO ACTUALLY GET A DEPOSIT BECAUSE THAT WAY THE PROVIDER DOES KNOW YOU’RE SERIOUS AND THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO FOLLOW THROUGH AND KEEP THINGS AS NORMAL BECAUSE THEY EXPECT IT TO BE THAT WAY BUT REMEMBER BY design it is only for the KC Baseball Heart Royals MLB shirt and I will buy this provider and not the customer. -sorry, button got stuck. “Hey, yeah, I know you took time to get this tat done but my life is more important than yours, so yeah, you’ll just have to deal with it. Oh, and can I keep your deposit? I PROMISE I’ll be back soonxx” How much is an extra €50 going to improve your holiday? I mean, not that she’d be right to ask for it, but say it was a €500 deposit, then yeah, that’s enough to make a difference. Flaking on the appointment and asking to keep the deposit would just make me wonder what else she forgets/justifies on a daily basis in regards to her business…”Eh, that last tattoo was quick. No real need to sanitize anything” That sucks. I’m sorry that happened. Something similar happened to me, and I decided that I’m never going to that artist again.

Same! An artist I’d gotten a tattoo from once before rescheduled my appointment twice – once on the KC Baseball Heart Royals MLB shirt and I will buy this day of because he didn’t have enough time for the design I wanted (like what??? I gave him the design weeks before) and the second time a few days out because he’d realised my appointment was in the school holidays and he needed to stay home with his kid (again, not like school holidays are a surprise?). In between he once messaged me asking if I was coming to my appointment that weekend, when I’d never booked that date. All of that was 110% enough reason not to go back. Luckily he’d never asked me for a deposit. Useless. You tell her “Absolutely not. I’m sorry, but this is unacceptable. I will need you to give me back my deposit before you leave. I will not be rescheduling.”
