Man it’s such a good time to be a GOP mistress, you get spa weekend getaways to Europe when pregnant that the Kansas city Chiefs football shirt Apart from…,I will love this rest of the country can’t afford. Wow! I am overwhelmed with disgust. Also- birth control is healthcare?!? What about people like me who really need it to function with endometriosis? So my first thought following the leaked SCOTUS draft was that this is all republican political theater meant to whip up the reactionary culture warriors to get out the vote for the mid-terms. To the cynical, it makes sense: ‘leak’ an explosive opinion, and then walk it back and blame the baby killers for making baby jesus cry and every pulpit in America illegally reminds their sheep flock to vote republican this November. I’m not sure anymore. I’m starting to think this is an all-in, last gasp, Hail Mary to hold on until trump can run again and repeat the unlikely 2016 election. I think they’ve finally chosen a hill to die on, and the only issue they can control is abortion (the AHA is here to stay, and the dems haven’t tried to hike taxes on the wealthy – it’s far from the perfect wedge issue, but it is there to be exploited at their instigation, and the feelings run deep).

I believe they’ll lose on this in the Kansas city Chiefs football shirt Apart from…,I will love this end. The Pro-Life stance is just a bit too unpopular and riven with loopholes to the morality, but maybe they can make some hay about the Dems all lining up on the side of dead babies for a short term political win. If it doesn’t work for the midterms, or if Roe actually gets repealed and state republicans have to own the results, this thing could backfire spectacularly. From a strategic standpoint, this is hugely risky. I’d call them talibangelicals, but since the taliban and their sharia law is quite a bit more progressive than conservatives when it comes to abortions, I think that would be disrespectful to the taliban. They’ll be coming for masturbation next … pardon the accidental pun. It feels as though we’re going back to the Middle Ages. As a European I am honestly in shock at how quickly this is all happening. Just over a year ago the insurrection happened, now they‘re about to ban abortion and possibly all kinds of contraception.
