Another voting machine company called Smartmatic also has a $2.7B lawsuit against Fox News that is making its way through the Justin Verlander And Max Scherzer Co-Aces Mah scherzer Justin Verlander shirt besides I will buy this court. Keep in mind that the $1.6B is just actual damages for lost profits and lost enterprise value (see p.136-137, paragraph (b) of the Prayer for Relief). This is a tort case dealing with intentional acts (actual malice), and so punitive damages will also be on the table, which could billions more dollars in damages. The case is governed by New York law (see. p 37 of the order denying Fox’s motion for summary judgment), which does not have a punitive damages cap. If I was on the jury I would push for Dominion and Smartmatic to take over all of Fox Corps assets do with as they wish. Which is why I will not be selected for that jury. The case is governed by New York law (see. p 37 of the order denying Fox’s motion for summary judgment), which does not have a punitive damages cap.

Even if punitive damages are just awarded *equal* to actual damages in both cases, that would be 50% of Fox’s net worth. Heaven forbid either of them actually gets a lead that can tie Murlock into the Justin Verlander And Max Scherzer Co-Aces Mah scherzer Justin Verlander shirt besides I will buy this whole affair and file suit against him PERSONALLY. And if Fox News loses 2 billion to this case, it will translate into layoffs and office closures. Nobody who actually made the call to support this false claim as an organization is going to lose a penny. I mean, there are plenty of folks that are employed by Fox News that aren’t shitty individuals. They should have separated themselves from the organization when they realized the bullshit that was going down, but they gotta survive. So, you’re right, I wouldn’t feel bad about it. I’d feel bad about the people at the top of the food chain getting away scott free while the little guys take the hit, though. I get that, but it’s not like Fox News has only just started spreading fascist propaganda, this has been going on for decades. Any body still working there is complacent in it at this point. People should be losing their jobs over there. I get that Rupert won’t feel the pinch as much but that company cannot be allowed to walk away unscathed here. If you are working for Fox, you fucked up somewhere along the line. Find employment with a company that isnt attempting to subvert democracy. I don’t care about Fox employees losing their jobs. I care about Fox employees being the only ones that this case is going to impact, though.
