As someone lived in PRC for 20ish years, please stop giving the Justin Holiday American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets T-Shirt and by the same token and credit to CCP, if praise that should be the diligent people not the government because those Republicans stay blind of how they treats us during COVID years, that is why I moved to another country. Also these infrastructure are built in recent decades where the economy boom so they are very modern, it was made to be looking fancy not quite practical when come to use tbh 🙁 Weird it’s almost like Russia and China put federal funds toward public transportation but in the USA we expect “capitalism” to somehow fix it. yeah its not the billions and billions of tax dollars dodged by wealthy people, or the billions and billions in subsidies the governement pays to multibillion dollar companies, its those pesky homeless/unemployed/disabled people on welfare that’s the problem! some people in america really shouldn’t be allowed to access the internet or have an opinion on anything.

There’s a YouTube channel called “Walk East” that showcases walks around Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in China. You might want to take a look at it if you really don’t believe that China is doing the Justin Holiday American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets T-Shirt and by the same token and same if not better than the U.S. You already know China is shit, right? So would it really hurt if you look at those “positive China videos”? It’s all propaganda, right? Every time we visit Chicago I’ve been pleasantly impressed with the public transit. Trains every ) minutes or so and they appear to work. Same with the dc bus system. I do wish every big city had wide open transit, however. And they pick Ghuangzhou of all cities. Guangzhou is a filthy city in terms of smog and it’s overall environmental state. If you look outside you see a thick fog of emissions. I remember being in a hotel there. They had obviously photoshopped pictures of the outside sights in there to propagandise the state of the city. It’s not a good city and lots of stuff has to be done to get it all right. I can tell you: Xi isn’t going to do it. China’s national rail transportation network is light years ahead of american trains, you can genuinely cross from one end of china to the other in a matter of hours for a fraction of what it cost you to do the same in america over several days I hate the amount of fucking cherrypicking in the transit sphere about China. Yeah sure the trains and stations look nice and flashy. Fun fact, it’s a dictatorship, they have a massive facade to hide the fact that the major cities are almost always covered in smog and horrible levels of pollution. Not to mention for once American architecture gets a run for its money when you look at Mainland Chinese architecture. I have never seen so many buildings collapse or seen people just chisel away at them with their bare fucking hands. This ain’t even going into the genocide China is committing or the horrific suppression of human rights, but see America did bad things to so we have to ignore that But a time I’ll never unfortunately forget is sitting on a 100 degree train in mid July for a 12 hour ride from Hong Kong to Beijing. We were packed like sardines, and it already smelled like a locker room.
