Again, this isn’t a moral excusal of Israel’s actions, it’s an explanation of why Israelis as a whole, who in some respects are just as progressive as the Just Keep Swimming Finding Nemo shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this average American, if not more, can be persuaded to vote for extreme right-wingers. Yes, yes, the danger comes in context of the shitty treatment of Palestinians. The rational reaction is to try and reverse the abuses and work to de-escalate the conflict and move towards a fair bilateral solution. But when you’re under threat, rationality is the first thing to go out the window. When you lash out in fear, it isn’t pre-planned, nor does it excuse the pain the strike inflicts. Excellently worded comment you made! Yep. It probably also doesn’t help that the thousand years-long tradition of antisemitism and violence against Jews in the Arab world, going right up to the present, makes some of them think of it as punching upward. Racist beliefs…kinda do make sense (in a way that doesnt make sense). This isnt me condoning racism, but people are predisposed to be more comfortable around people who are similar to them. I dont have an actual study to quote, but ive heard several times from multiple different science professors that facial recognition between people of different skin colors goes down by a considerable percentage. (I.e. All white, black, asian…etc people look alike)

Just Keep Swimming Finding Nemo shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Monke brain sees something different and starts sparking. It takes realizing that everybody has a bit of racism within themselves to start to change the Just Keep Swimming Finding Nemo shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this way we perceive the world and others. I not it’s exactly the same, but it kind of made me think of Christian Picciolini who became a neo-nazi (is not any more and speaks out about it) despite being the child of immigrant parents. He says he “blamed immigrants for taking jobs from white Americans”. I wonder if this is common, to have this hatred that you know actually applies to YOU and your loved ones on some level. They honestly believe that they are the exception — “MY family did everything this right way” or “those other immigrants are just looking for free money, MY family deserved to come here.” It’s the same reason people vote against their own interests and are then shocked when they feel the effects. They thought they were somehow the exception. This is a whole lot of Mexican Americans I know in California. Their parents came to pick crops, had kids here and those kids are religious conservatives who very much buy the “Mexico isn’t sending its best” crap. Big Trump fans who very much want the wall. They are inexplicably committed to preventing anyone else from doing what their parents did.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
