AI is going to screw up a lot of things. My final straw was when a food tester was let go from her job testing recipes for food blogs because AI was writing them now. The company that employed her told her why, and it was because “their audience was older house wives who didn’t plan on cooking them any ways” I’m a cook first, if I look up a recipe I expect to cook it. AI written news stories have begun to show up… and I doubt people are fact checking them… With the Just a woman who loves spring and vikings mickey and friend football shirt and by the same token and capabilities of voice matching, deep fakes, amazing cgi and now AI production I will no longer believe anything I see online, or at minimum be hyper critical of what I’m looking at. I always discredit AI videos and as soon as one starts playing (usually through shorts) I get off the app / site in an instant. They are extremely boring, almost always misinformed or fake and overall the “scripts” (if you can even call it that) written by the AI (this is a problem with all AIs btw) are so poorly written, that merely listening to any sentence of the “script” makes me lose brain cells. AI needs more supervision than a child in order for it to make something worthwhile.

Do you watch personally those videos? Do you produce videos that aim for people who watch AI content (most people don’t)? It seems like the Just a woman who loves spring and vikings mickey and friend football shirt and by the same token and majority of people use fully produced AI videos as the next get rich quick scheme. I don’t personally like it, and I understand using AI to help you with some things, but when it’s entirely AI produced, scripted, and the only human element was the person typing to the AI what it wants then pushing upload is where I have an issue with it. It feels lazy, empty, and kind of like a cheat in a way. Though, some AI channels are growing fast. Most of them dedicated to just summarising and narrating movies and series and mangas and animes. So I guess it depends on the user how they’ll use the AI. I prefer content that was actually made by a human, if I wanted to watch soulless machines churn shit out I’d go work at an automated factory.
