All the Just a woman O’reilly who works for O’reilly auto parts shirt and I will buy this after the factors opinions are pure entertainment. Pretty sure 99% would be pissing their pants in a broom closet. A hand gun against a rifle of any sorts is ballsy. Doesn’t matter if it was a semi automatic or a chambered round. I can’t fault the staff. Insane. Just fucking insane on the highest level. Why not park a swat team in each classroom. MTG and rest of the GQP can approve. but the narrative clearly states that arming teachers ends school shootings, so unfortunately this is fake news, what a shame. I honestly don’t care anymore. We know how to stop it, republican voters won’t let that happen. So what’s the point in getting upset. Does the article mention how many or whether they were present or in the area? Do they actually speak to any of them? The last article I saw on this topic didn’t and I’d therefore useless information. In case anyone wants the info the next time funding and arming teachers comes up because this fact of teachers being armed isn’t going to stop your outrage bait right wing in laws from regurgitating some fox news shpeal about how it never happened. Now look up hiring costs, it costs the provider around 220% more than the man is making ($17 wage tranlates to a little under $40/hr for customer), now look up people who can travel internationally or even between states… the $17 is something like star/phoenix/basement security having armed deterrents, ‘hands on’ security tend to make >200% prevailing avg. It is a large reason retail companies prop up cheap in house solutions, the liability involved in armed security is really big, lets just say nothing really bad happens but post detainment you are also going to need the security personnel to be involved in future court/legal proceedings, youre not just hiring someone to stop a robbery or kidnapping (many many wealthy Asian/middle eastern businessmen/whatever have numerous bountys on family at large, they employ lots of security) situation youre also hiring them for x amount down the road to be available for legal proceedings (this is how i learned about escrow). A lot of armed guards are also just deterrents/explicitly forbidden from interfering. Hands on security is expensive, it carries an entirely different liability for the hiring company when they are bringing people in contractually intent on detaining or potentially killing people vs a guard doing that stuff out of their own misinformed volition. I.e. people on armored trucks are making $30+ there, ex/moonlighting cops are making $110/hr there and actual executive security are making in the $150/hr range in California as theyre getting the hazard pay as well. That $17/hr armed deterrent isn’t what you think it is and is at best $38-40/hr cost for customer. (Edit: was a regional coordinator in PNW meaning dealt with the California clients referencing hazard pay as of like 10 yrs ago, ita likely higher now. I googled the armored courier wage).

A lot of the Just a woman O’reilly who works for O’reilly auto parts shirt and I will buy this expensive security is plain clothes as well and you aren’t aware, but some people also appreciate the visual deterrent factor or it is just obvious why someone is hanging out with an armed nfl offensive line. I ramble, I used to do this. No, nothing really cool or dangerous ever happened. A few vehicles behaving strangely under the scrutinized eyes of anxiety and some very mismatched and outnumbered physical confrontations in my favor. My best story is about being in charge of an armed event detail, having 6 other peoples passports/documents/electronics/everything on me and being informed I didn’t look good enough in a provided Gucci suit (ill fitted) for a band touring SEA and basically being sent away, had their manager sign the release (confirming basically a premature end of detail/release of detail. Which i had to assume was a combination of manager being a yes man to bands will and them thinking it was just for me and not the full detail) and everything, informed the guys as they showed up to the hotel they were being paid and had the next few weeks off. I have no idea what they did instead.
