As many have said, it depends on where. That’s not even entry level in a lot of California with a bachelor’s degree. My son who’s a waiter while going to school makes about 50k with tips. It depends where you are, what you’re doing, and how hard you want to work, and if you want to get by or be legitimately good at your craft. I was making 56k as a high school junior doing web stuff last century. Was I working more hours than legally allowed; maybe but who knows at this point. I skipped college cuz was already making more than my HS teachers at the Just A Girl Who Loves Fall and Miami Hurricanes Peanuts Cartoon Halloween Shirt What’s more,I will buy this time so didn’t make sense to me. I’m still doing fine. I have a bachelors, I’m 24, and make 70k. My husband has no bachelors and makes 60k-70k. My mom has a bachelors and makes 80k. I think there is some luck to it, but it’s achievable. But also the job market is tough rn

I live in a lower income city and I dont know many people making 60k. Me and my partner combined make about that much. we both work full time jobs that require skills and degrees. My husband has a Master’s degree and is working in his career field and has yet to crack $60k a year here in the Just A Girl Who Loves Fall and Miami Hurricanes Peanuts Cartoon Halloween Shirt What’s more,I will buy this Midwest, even though we’re in a major metropolitan area. It really depends on the individual. If very few of the people you know are making more than $60k/y, it can look like an unachievable goal. But if you mostly know people who make more, it might seem commonplace and easy. I graduated earlier this month with a B.S. from a top 40 school and very good grades, but my major was in something that people loved calling useless during my studies. I have since received a few offers but accepted one starting at $60,000 after being on the job hunt for less than a month.
