Nah, Me and my girlfriend are both vaccinated. She still got covid and I never caught it even though we still slept together and even had sex. If that didn’t do it then I’m not worried about catching anything. That and the Just A Girl Who Loves Dolph Lundgren Shirt But I will love this mandates are lifted where I’m at. Although I did appreciate the anonymity of the mask and good combo Second of all, I’d like to keep all my gray matter. Third, it’s a trivial inconvenience and, stochastically speaking, helps reduce the spread. I consider it basic civil responsibility to do easy things that help your community – and wearing a mask to is no more difficult than carrying your trash to a garbage can rather than just dropping it while you walk. I mean, we think of someone who doesn’t pick up their dog’s poop as a selfish a-hole, and wearing a mask is both easier and less gross. As time goes on, the odds increase that a strain will emerge that will blow right past existing vaccines. Everyone at my company started coming back into the office a week ago, and all of us are vaccinated, so I don’t wear my mask there (though some of my colleagues still do, and I will not knock them for it). Yes, because despite public opinion, there is still a global pandemic going on with cases rising rapidly in my state. We may be 90% down from the peak, but we’re still 500% above what we called comfortable levels last summer. I’m vaxed and waxed but still don’t want to get a disease that I can avoid, that may have long term consequences. I take risks when there is potential reward. It keeps my face warm in the cold, I don’t have to worry about shaving as often, I can breath fine in it, and it helps protect people around me if I were to get sick. Haven’t had a good enough reason to stop.
