This happens in Florida all of the Just a girl who loves congrats Noah Thompson shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this time. It’s usually one of the parents who was supposed to take their kid to daycare and forgot the kid was in the car seat sleeping. After work they find their kid has passed away. If it’s a bar, a BBQ or anything else but church these parents would face charges. Please though, tell me more about these poor oppressed Christians. They are ‘co-pastors’ of the congregation but they thought leaving a child in the hot Florida sun for 3 hours was perfectly fine? These people should be in jail. Absolutely disgusting to make an excuse that this was an accident —- if you are this stupid and negligent you probably shouldnt have children and preach to other people. It’s easy to assume neglect whenever this happens, but this has happened to parents who made an honest mistake, and they have to live with people calling them murderers for the rest of their lives.

I know how you feel, I love to make fun of hypcritical Christians as well, but let’s criticize them for things that are the Just a girl who loves congrats Noah Thompson shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this actual problems. If there’s more to this story than I’m aware of that proves neglect, then let me know and I’ll delete this comment. One of the few sensible replies among thousands of ghoulish replies dunking on religion, which this has nothing to do with. People here reveling and making jokes when honestly this happens to people all the time and this family is potentially shattered and devastated but sure it’s ok to make fun of them because it was church. I’m going to pay devil’s advocate here (ironically for Christians in this context) and suggest that they may not be horrible, incompetent parents. Before you downvote me into oblivion, I recommend googling “Fatal distraction” and reading a few of the articles you find. There’s interviews with parents who’ve fatally left their kids in hot cars, and it’s pretty insightful. These parents aren’t deadbeats who don’t give a damn, nor are they stupid enough to not realize the danger of hot cars. They are amazing parents who’ve made one incredibly tragic mistake. There’s obviously a huge difference between me forgetting my laptop in my car and forgetting a child in the back seat, but all it really takes is a quick distraction, a tiny lapse in attention, or just plain-ol “what was I doing again?” to make the biggest mistake you will regret for the rest of your life.
