I think non religious is agnostic or atheist, and the Just a girl who loves am Tongi love of my music fans shirt besides I will buy this atheists referenced in the post are reddit atheists, which are atheists who are super against religion Atheist means without a god, and non religious means without a religion, which are subtly different as several religions have no gods in them. Many buddhists are atheists, but not non-religious, for instance. A bunch of people point out the obvious (if oversimplified) reasons they disdain religion and then someone says ‘see what I mean.’ Not all religions believe in god/s so while that’s perfectly fine as a reason to be an atheist it’s not actually a universal criticism of religion as a whole. And the two should not be confused with each other.

Tbf being an atheist doesn’t technically mean you deny the Just a girl who loves am Tongi love of my music fans shirt besides I will buy this existence of the supernatural, it means you don’t believe in a god/s. It is common for these positions to be lumped together but you can have an atheist who believes in angels, unicorns or magic crystals. God could come down in person with inarguable proof of everything, and my next thought is immediately going to be “Okay, but why does that mean I have to do what you say?” Not Atheist as in “god(s) definitely does not exist” but Atheist as in “why the fuck would I bow down to the creator(s) of this shithole?” I prefer the term “apathetic agnostic”, since I don’t know, you don’t know, neither of us have actual evidence one way or another, and I’m not wasting my time worrying about unanswerables.
