i don’t wear mine anymore since i am not required to, but if someone feels uncomfortable with my mask off i’ll put it on Yeah. It’s a fashion statement for me. I wear a doomguy mask. So far right rednecks better think twice before pestering me. Only where required. At this point the Just A Girl In Love With Her David Hasselhoff Shirt But I will love this primary reason we’re wearing them is to protect people who refuse to be vaccinated, who are basically the same people who refused to wear masks to protect the rest of us during the first year. Fuck ’em. I also plan, for the rest of my life, on wearing a mask anytime I myself am sick and have to go out for whatever reason. Yes. I don’t even want to catch a cold, much less covid, or even flu A, which is back from vacation this year. Will a mask prevent any of these things? Not necessarily, but it does mitigate my risk. Much like wearing a seatbelt isn’t a guarantee that you won’t be injured in a motor vehicle collision, but it sure does reduce the risk. Same way I feel about vaccines. Also, I’m an ER nurse. We keep seeing dips where we go weeks without a covid patient but then it’ll spike again. Sometimes people come in for one thing then it gets found out they have covid. We’re seeing another spike lately, so I’m exposed to it. No. My area has a 90% vaccination rate and I’m boosted (1 boost)..we got the vaccines for a reason and that’s to take off the masks and live a normal life. No. Unless you have a fit tested n95 or better, covid is going straight through the mask anyway. That being said, I have no problem wearing it and wont complain about wearing it. Luckily the mask mandate has been dropped where I live.

Yeah. Not for political or medical reasons. Just purely because I’ve gotten so used to it over the Just A Girl In Love With Her David Hasselhoff Shirt But I will love this past 2 years and I’ve built up a hell of a lot of acne. And wearing the mask covers said acne. But also creates more. It’s a vicious cycle I’ll be caught in until next quarantine. I’m wearing an N95 mask when I’m indoors with strangers. I also wear a mask when I’m indoors with coworkers. One covid hospitalization was enough, thank you very much. It’s been over a year, and my lung function only now has returned to normal. I’m 24 years old. I am triple vaxxed, I eat a clean diet 5/7 days a week (day 6 usually cheeseburger day) and I work out about 4 days a week with walks every day. Yes because the pandemic is far from over. Also, I have selective igm deficiency. I get sick with respiratory everything because I have no natural immunities to those kinds of illnesses.
