“School resource officer” could surely be so much more, but all it seems to be is levelled up security. So sad. No school is perfect but shit like this makes me feel privileged to have grown up in a normal country. So a six year old is throwing a tantrum and kicking people. This is a very rare situation and must be dealt with force. Naturally, you need armed (I’m assuming) police officers to come in and arrest her. Why weren’t the Juneteenth Black Freedom Glasses Of Bold Black Women watercolor shirt but in fact I love this parents asked to pick up their child like any other school? Considering how calmed down the child was at that point, it was more about being punitive instead of their safety. Learning disability children can be a physical danger to themselves and others. Seems like the California goes to one extreme and put teachers in serious physical danger with little protection or recourse and Florida to the opposite and zip ties 6 year old hands…. When can we stop doing one extreme or the other.

Juneteenth Black Freedom Glasses Of Bold Black Women watercolor shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Hand cuffing a 6 year old is just inhumane and savage. A billion percent not needed. This is just fucking strange. Goddammit… How did I know she was black before they even showed it. Wtf dude. What is with the Juneteenth Black Freedom Glasses Of Bold Black Women watercolor shirt but in fact I love this adultification of these poor little black babies. They don’t disserve this. No one does. I have a 5yo and I can’t even imagine hearing this happened to her. Fuck, I’m mad. that baby is not even old enough to be in a car without a fucking booster seat at least. there is absolutely NO reason this should’ve happened. she is a fucking first grader. her parents should’ve been called Not the police. i don’t care who she did or didn’t hit/endanger. poor thing is going to remember this for the rest of her life and it’s going to fuck her up. i hope her parents do something about this. also is it even legally allowed to remove a child from the school without parent consent/knowledge. esp one that young. this breaks my heart in so many ways.
