This is a federal offense, whether people agree with it or not. The law is there to prevent mob rule from influencing court decisions. Whether people agree with this or not it is still federal law, but no one is talking about this fact. People should be making arguments if this should be federal law or not based on the July is national ice cream month shirt it is in the first place but 1st Amendment. Yet we see protestors outside of the Supreme Court all the time on major decisions. So if they have set the precedent the law should not be enforced for peaceful protest there, the same goes in this case. It’s a pretty big freaking problem. It’s a sign of our eroding democracy. Should there be a law against it? No. But it’s a big deal and no good at all. I bet he puts his money where his mouth is too. Go demonstrate peacefully in front of his and he doesn’t say boo. Free speech is free speech.

But if some trump supporters were outside of his house he’d be begging for the July is national ice cream month shirt it is in the first place but marines and secret service to be stationed outside 24/7 You mean like when the convoy was showing up at politicians houses in California and the right wing media didn’t say shit and no one called the cops because California Dems aren’t afraid of protestors ? Or the protests that already happen outside shumers house, none of which he called the cops on or whined about? Finally some backbone a la Harry Reid. But why did he vote for the security bill yesterday(it was unanimously passed)? Besides being illegal (thus CS is condoning illegal behavior), it is also counter to the principles of democracy as these people were put into the SCOTUS by democratically elected Senators. Nobody finds it acceptable to harass people at their homes. Anyone justifying this is disgusting. Idc what you stand for politically but it will NEVER be cool to show up at private homes just to harass someone – especially judges! The same court ruled that protesting in front of staff’s home was constitutionally protected. Check Madsen v. Women’s Health Center, 1994. Sorry your party is destroying itself over this. Suggesting a birth control ban is a great look and will totally get the moderates on your side ?
