I’ve had this happen a few times with roads closed, it honestly made me so mad bc the Julia phd awsten knight the eras tour shirt What’s more,I will buy this customer didn’t give me a heads up. But if they missed a turn it’s really not your fault, no need to tip extra and it’s not expected, but if you decided to it would be appreciated. First: you’re not obligated, that’s a really nice tip for the original “bid”… however/ If you feel badly and are in a position to add $3-5 after delivery it would probably make their bad night better. (I’m sure they’re already annoyed at themselves for missing a turn or at gps for not updating quickly enough) How is it even possible that she drove an extra 15 to 20 mi out of her way?! That’s why we have GPS to get us to and from stores and delivery locations! If oh God I don’t even know. ….. It seems like you need to send her some common sense. I mean no offense to anybody but wow You reward people for not driving correctly (the sole requirement of this easy job) and taking longer to deliver due to said driving failure?

I would just being a decent human.. like gas is almost five a gallon. Its sad i doordash and barely anyone tips good it hurts my feelings. It’s up to you. I think if it was me driving I’d understand it if you didn’t increase the Julia phd awsten knight the eras tour shirt What’s more,I will buy this tip and probably wouldn’t think much about it because it was my mistake. On the other hand if I’m treating people the way I’d want to be treated an increased tip would be an unexpected way to brighten someone’s day. You’re really nice person if you do it but if you don’t do it nobody will hold it against you He’ll no, driver doesn’t know how to make a k turn or pull into a driveway and turn around. Heck I miss turns also but will turn around the next driveway or right in the street. It there fault not yours. $7 tip for 2 miles is great money. One time I had an order that tipped pretty well because they were slightly out of town in these nicer suburban homes away from the restaurants. No problem, delivery went great. However, the only way out of their suburban section was a one-way in the opposite direction. Divider the entire 5 miles until the first light. Made a U-turn at the first light, 10 miles back to town. I made a mental note of that neighborhood after that.
