The open world expanse v. polish in this game is very impressive, but ultimately I don’t feel the Julee cruise rest in peace 1956 2022 shirt Apart from…,I will love this open world aspect added much to the experience except make getting from point A to point B way longer. Exploring cookie cutter spots wasn’t very interesting My criticisms: Should have been wayyyy more selective about which bosses got repeated. My favorite moment from my play through was Ulcerated Tree Snake underneath spawn – it kicked my ass for 4 hours and was an unforgettable moment for me. Also unforgettable for me will be the heartbreak of seeing it in the open world later in Altus Plateau. Felt like it undermined my victory because my fav boss wasn’t special in the eyes of the game. Sometimes repeating bosses was really cool! Teasing Farum Azula early with the beast man boss was an awesome payoff for when I actually made it there! I loved that dragons were a class of enemy and after you got good at fighting one, you could be confident fighting the rest.

Also, just fighting 2/3 of the Julee cruise rest in peace 1956 2022 shirt Apart from…,I will love this same goon at the same time is not creative satisfying or fun game design. My least favorite bosses were Valiant Gargoyles and Godskin duo and once I beat them after hours of attempts, I didn’t feel satisfied or skilled. Edit: also, the main story bosses of the game always felt more like spectacle than actual skill checks. I beat most of them in just a few tries (Rykard being the biggest example of this) so while they were badass, again, it never felt much like I overcame anything. Should be no reason that the bull-bear-laser dog outside Volcano Manor should take 2 hours while Rykard died in 2 tries I can’t play it even on low settings. I get black screened every battle and can only see 1/4 of the picture. I’m afraid I won’t get a refund. I have 45 min total played. I bought a lemon. Some of the legacy dungeons felt a bit underwhelming, I think stormvale castle set the the standard too high too early on. Nothing else except maybe leyndell matched it’s mazelike interconnectedness.
