Whenever I’ve seen a warrant card, that right hand section which is blank on yours would have an ID card on it with the Joshua Palmer Canadian professional American football wide receiver T-Shirt Also,I will get this officers photo and details. Also, a quick Google says that style of badge with the diamond type pattern is obsolete. Executing a search warrant from 2015? Were they on the lookout for the koala bandit or something? Also the warrant is for stuff rather than people. Edit: Update on that. I’d be onto the police now. I’m relatively confident you have had a run in with miscreants and what you have taken photos of there would be what those in the unsavoury trades would call “physical evidence” Second this. LAE use template documents and they have the version date on the top like that. Most officers remove them, but not all officers are great at paperwork. This looks like a legit search warrant to me and the date on the stamp is correct.

It’s correct procedure for police to leave a copy of a SW (police have a copy, the Joshua Palmer Canadian professional American football wide receiver T-Shirt Also,I will get this court gets a copy and the address is left with a copy). The reason for this is that so the subject of the SW have their own copy to refer to to insure they’ve been treated properly etc etc. The badge has likely been left there by accident. It’s technically property of the crown, so should be returned to your local police station ASAP. I can’t see why a scammer would go to such lengths to reproduce an accurate SW, complete with stamp and replica badge. It may be a case that a suspect in Bristol, where the crime has taken place, has a connection to the property in Glasgow. In which case the case would still belong to Gloucestershire police.
