When I was traveling on one of the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this metro trains in Taipei, Taiwan, I left a bag with souvenirs and snacks in my seat. Noticed I had forgotten my bag as I was walking towards the exit of the train station. Spoke to one of the ticketing agents at the station. They were able to call the train conductor or operator to check for my bag. Luckily, the bag was still in the seat. My bag was returned to me when the train made a return trip back to the station. being able to experience Tulum and its beauty before it went viral and became another tourist trap. heard they have a new airport now so its only going to get worse imo, which is a shame because we loved it but probably wouldnt go back now Took my parents to Rome and just happened to be in St. Peter’s Basilica with my catholic mother when the new pope gave a surprise mass.

Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt: A Provocative Statement in Modern Fashion

Took a flight from Islamabad to Gilgit on PIA. Midflight the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this attendant asked if I wanted to see the cockpit. I got to sit jump seat and smoke cigarettes and drink tea with the captain as we flew over the Himalayas and chat about life. Went to New Zealand and messed up my flights giving me an extra night, I decided to try and photograph cathedral cove. it was raining cats and dogs but I got out there to take photos. On the drive back the guy that ran the converted church home told me he wasn’t sure it would be possible to drive back. An extra car rental, extra night in hotel, flight change fees were gonna add up to 1k pretty quick so I was determined to make it. Living in the states having a road be unavailable was something I never had happen and was skeptical something like that could happen in 2024. I came to a bridge that had a line of cars stopped just before it. I was driving a tiny little hatch back. I drove around the line of cars and started hitting pretty deep water about halfway on the bridge. only thing I could do is give it more gas. The water was really deep and started piling up and covering the windshield. I couldn’t see much and just kept flooring it. The car was shaky for about five seconds and the car definitely wasn’t getting full traction. Those 5 seconds felt like time stopped. I clearly remember thinking Jesus take the wheel. eventually the tires got grip and the engine roared to life and the water lowered away. By myself in that tiny hatch back I let out the the most exhilarating yell of my life. I turned up the music and vibed all the way back to the airport (3 hours). Looking back if that engine had stalled, or the car had floated off the bridge, I would have lost about 20k in camera and tech equipment, I would have lost the car, but also, I would have been waste deep about 25 clicks away from the nearest hotel/restaurant. It would have been a long, cold uncomfortable march. That was really lucky and Cathedral cove is a popular Windows 10 wallpaper, my photo looks like the dreary grey version of that, but it’s framed in my home all the same because I get a little bit of a taste of that moment every time I walk past it.
Watched 2 squirrels happily playing on the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this trees in Zermatt. Just after lockdown, so it was just me and them in the woods. Squirrels are quite rare where I live. I paid 70 Euros for breakfast and early access to the Vatican Museum. Breakfast at 7 am, entry to the museum at 8 am, and the general public was allowed in at 9 am. When we were allowed to enter the museum, I rushed to the Sistine Chapel. I was one of only 2-3 people there for probably 20 minutes before a couple other people from breakfast joined us. It was amazing to have that space virtually to myself. I stood with my guide book and took my time visually exploring the art on the ceiling, reading a bit, looking up, reading a bit, looking up, and just taking it all in.

About 10 minutes before the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this doors opened to the general public I made my way back to the entry and started touring the museum from the beginning. By the time I got back to the Sistine Chapel, it was a crowded, noisy and chaotic place. Most people exit at that point, but there’s a modern wing to the Vatican Museum too, and after paying so much for entry I didn’t want to miss anything, so I went downstairs instead of out. There I found a wing virtually free of tourists with works by Picasso, Munch, Matisse and others. Went to Yosemite met a guy who let me and my friend stay at his camp site for free. You normally need reservations months in advance but me and my friend were doing this trip very last minute. The guy was super cool and became a good friend. Gave us food and everything Traveled to Dubai to visit a friend. Tried the gold coffee in Burj Al Arab, one of the managers gave us 4 free croissants. Also on the same trip, we went to Abu Dhabi and visited Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental. Again, we were having coffee, and this manager comes up to us to give us a free chocolate cake. My friend and I were so surprised, we felt so lucky for the kindness of the staff who gave us free food!
In Sicily in my early 20s. I randomly started talking (in my bad Italian) with a big group of kids my age. Got in a car with them, we drove to a music festival on the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this outskirts of town, had an amazing time hanging out, a couple of them dropped me off at my hostel at the end of the night. Turns out it was a communist rally. One of my favorite travel memories. I know getting on a car with strangers is generally not smart but they were such a sweet group of hippie kids and I never felt unsafe. In 2017, my grandpop took the whole family on a cruise because he promised he would. A few years prior, he was in a horrible accident while on a bus on the way to a cruise ship (he used to run trips for their seniors club) and he needed to be airlifted to a trauma hospital from the scene. He was like 86 at the time and it looked grim the the would make it, but he did. There was a lawsuit due to driver negligence, and he eventually got a nice settlement, so he promised he would take the family somewhere. Well he did, and at first everyone was a little hesitant about if we would all have fun on a Canada/New England cruise, but we did and it was amazing. Many memories from this trip will stick with us all forever, and I’m so grateful for getting to have this experience. Pop was such a big personality and such a major force in all of our lives.
In 2020, my bf and I were supposed to leave for a trip to Dubai that lovely week in March when the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this world shutdown. Obviously, we had to reschedule the trip and we were able to push it back to September. September 2020 ended up being one of the worst times, because that amazing force that was my grandpop died suddenly due to an infection that turned septic faster than his body could fight. However, we were scheduled to leave a few days after all of the services and everything were over. We were able to take this trip and experience such an incredible time. I was worried about being too sad and in shock, but honestly being so far away and getting to enjoy this vacation was exactly what was needed at that time.
Went to Iceland this recent January, somehow we ended up going to the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this Blue Lagoon the one week it was open before and after 2 volcano eruptions Stumbled across a pigeon market taking place in a gap in the Theodosian walls in Istanbul that only takes place like one Sunday per month or something like that. Was a neat find. I had to get a flight from Belgrade to London, with a connection in Copenhagen. Unfortunately, the plane departed Belgrade 2 hours late, and that meant the 2 hour conmection time given at Copenhagen evaporated. Once we reached Copenhagen, we found out that the connecting flight ALSO had a delay of 2 hours. So me and some others who were also making the connection were not stranded in Denmark overnight. I was on my way from Hamburg to Krakow, and everything that could go wrong did. No flights, and the trains were out because Deutsche Bahn was on strike. My only shot was hitching a ride to Berlin on BlaBlaCar, then catching a Flixbus to Poland. But luck wasn’t on our side—the driver missed an exit, and we ended up losing 40 minutes. By the time we hit Berlin around 23:30, I had less than half an hour to catch my bus. The driver was sure I’d miss it.
With no other buses until 3 a.m., I braced myself for a long, cold night at the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this station. But then, the driver, instead of just dropping me off, invited me over to her place to wait out the time. It was totally unexpected. She made me feel at home, cooked for me, and we ended up dancing to music from my country, which I shared with her. It was such a warm, genuine gesture from a stranger, particularly a lady staying alone to invite a guy that she had just met. Looking back, I’m really grateful for that night, and I created a Spotify playlist just for her, I think of her sometimes. We were in Siatista Greece tracing my roots. My great grandfather was an iconographer in some of the Unesco cathedrals in the Peloponese and someone in my genealogy group said that the last name dated back to iconographers in the area during the 16th century and reasonable to assume they were my people since those trades got passed down. Anyway we get to town, we don’t know where to go, but need to use a bathroom so we go the the open school and I ask about the churches. And the man says why do you want to see them? So I told him our story and he makes a call and says “Go up to the big church on the hill. So we do. The man in the big church says the one church is closed right now but open for liturgy at 2pm. The other church is being worked on because of earthquake damage but here is the key. Have a look and bring it back when you finish. So we walked to the church and got a little lost so I asked an elderly fellow in a car. He says its very close, I will take you there and anyone who doesn’t fit in the car can just follow behind. So we get there and it’s a tiny little church filled with frescoes behind some scaffolding but you can still see everything. It was special and amazing. But then, when we walked out the gentleman waited for us and said, if you have time I’d love to offer some wine. Turns out he is one of the few winemakers who make list, a sweet wine made of dried grapes, and so we learned about that as well. It was the most magical day that you simply couldn’t plan.
Bumped into the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this prince and princess of Liechtenstein in Rome. They had given a guest lecture at my university a few months prior so I recognized them and had a chat. Thailand: bus from Bangkok to Changmai, me and one other passenger, plus a driver and a stewardess. 3 guys with guns drawn drove up next to us and tried to drive us off the road. Luckily, the bus driver didn’t lose his cool and maneuvered the bus safely while the stewardess was on the phone with the police. Eventually the guys lost interest and drove off towards another tourist bus. I had my passport and wallet zipped in a pocket and I was ready to spring straight into the jungle and not look back. All this was around 1am. Only having it rain one day while I was in London in 2010. It was sunny and in the 70s all but one day when I went (May), and from what I remember hearing it was very unusual weather. I had gone to England in July before and I had a jacket on outside some days and I remember it being cloudy or rainy just about every day. We got a 12 person air boat tour to ourselves once, and so me and my spouse got a personal tour of the guide’s favorite places, and I got to bring beer with me. The boat was able to glide to places a full boat could not go, and we even did a drift-like race course. We actually snuck up on the guide’s favorite alligator where he hangs out. The whole thing was epic.
Way back in the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this early 90’s (1994?) I was working a booth at PC Expo at the Javits Center in New York. For whatever reason, Intel was sponsoring a chess tournament at the same venue and either the PC Expo badge was good for the chess tournament, or anyone could go in. Don’t recall. Anyway, completely out of the blue I got to watch matches played by world-class talent like Judit Polgar, Garry Kasparov, Viswanathan Anand, Vassily Ivanchuk, Vladimir Kramnik (I think he won the whole thing). Everyone in the audience had headphones on to hear the commentary, so it was silent for the players. It was really well-done and a fantastic, completely unexpected experience when I was just there for booth duty.
It’s why I like to watch the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this Olympics. Any time you get to watch the best in the world do what they do, it’s a gift. Private tour of the Karahan Tepe excavation site by a working archaeologist (a friend) before it was open to the public. Was permitted to get down into some parts of the complex and everything! Recently just got back from Japan. My husband and I rented Kimono for the day and the last thing we did was go to a cafe for a snack. When we got there the regular tables were full, so we were going to sit at the bar. An older woman (we found out she was 80, she looked 50!) caught our attention and motioned us to sit with her. She spoke some English but not fluent and we only know very basic phrases in Japanese so we used google translate to talk for about an hour. She complimented our kimono and thanked us for visiting Japan and experiencing the culture. We talked about how long we had been together and that this was our delayed honeymoon and shared wedding pictures with her. We talked about our jobs and what made us come to Japan, and overall was a very wholesome experience. At the end she gave us a small gift and wished us luck in our lives and marriage and gave us some blessings.
When she left I started crying, and I don’t mean a few tears, I mean BAWLING my eyes out because it was truly the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this nicest interaction I’ve ever had with a stranger. We got a picture with her and whenever people ask about the highlight of the trip I tell them about this interaction. It meant so much to me that honestly I may get that picture framed. I felt so lucky in general to take a trip of a lifetime with my husband, but this was like the cherry on top for me to have experienced this. ETA: prior to this, my husband, myself and my mom took a trip to Europe, we saw Notre Dame day before it caught fire. It was Palm Sunday (didn’t realize it) so not only did we get to see Notre Dame, we got to see one of its last services. Traveling in Cambodia and I needed to get from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Decided to skip the bus and rented myself a motorcycle. Just had my backpack strapped to my back…. best ride of my life just cruising down the road all by myself.
Flew into Frankfurt for a ~5 week trip and made my way to the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this train station so I could make my way to Innsbruck later that day. Was quite warm by the time I got there and sat my stuff down to take my jacket off and figure out where to go. Figured out what train to get and got my ticket.. headed to the lounge to wait for a few minutes. Get to the lounge and go to use my phone and realize I dont have it. So I freaked out and ran back down to the main area to find my phone still sitting on the ledge. Saw multiple rainbows while in Ireland – which was amazing in itself but the most amazing Rainbow was over the Ring of Kerry while looking out over the Ladies View scenic stop. Amazing! Dad and I went for a night walk in Panama City around our hotel, looking for frogs. I saw branches shaking, went over the tree, shined my flashlight up to the branches, and saw Panamanian night monkeys staring down at us. We stared at each other for a few minutes before they moved off. Kayaking in Kaikoura in NZ a little blue penguin popped up right beside me in the ocean which apparently doesn’t happen often.
Same trip we paid for a basic helicopter trip up to a glacier and we got upgraded to a better package, and later won a competition to get one of our flights free. I witnessed a lion pride hunt and eat a warthog while on Safari in South Africa. The game driver said it was a once in a lifetime experience and seeing hunts is really lucky. Don’t know if this counts but we went to Venice the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this week Italy opened again for tourists in June 2021. Even with all the covid testing we were subjected to for arrival and departure, it was so worth it. The town was alive but not busy. Every restaurant had seats available. It was warm but not blistering hot for the summer. Got great pictures everywhere. No crowds. A lot of people say Venice is overrated due to the crowds but so we felt we lucked out getting to it see it in the summer without it. Felt like it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment for me and my fiancée. Not sure if it’ll ever be like that in Venice again.
My first time going to East Asia, I’d always wanted to visit Japan and managed to save up and go. On my first day I walked in a park and saw a man feeding birds out of his hand. I had never seen birds land and eat on a persons hand before, he saw me watching him and called me over and showed me how to get the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this birds to eat out of my hand Got pecked by a curious penguin chick in Antarctica. You are not supposed to approach the penguins, but what do you do if one approaches you after it realized I was not food, it dawdled away. One time our flight back to California had a connection in Vegas, but the airport was having some problems with stormy weather, so they asked the pilot to hold off. He decided to circle above the Grand Canyon and we got a view of a gorgeous rainbow coming out of the canyon. Met the friendliest cab driver in Cairo. He took me to an off the beaten track mosque, where there was no other tourist. The keeper, an old guy, gave a tour of the beautiful mosque, and our communication was entirely in gestures.
Watching the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this Northern Lights over Vestmannaeyjar in Iceland. I was meant to do the full ring road over 9 days, but due to weather in the northwest, I had to turn around right after Lake Myvatn. I ended up leaving my rental car at the port for Vestmannaeyjar for two days, hopping on a ferry, and wandering around the island on foot. On first day there, I climbed to the rim of the Edell volcano and was all alone up there. Slow tourism week, I suppose. That night, I got alerts on my phone that the northern lights were very likely to be seen in the area. I wandered around the harbour area where the app said they were visible, but it was quite lit up and I could only kind of sort of see them out of the corner of my eye when not looking directly at the artificial lights. I though that was going to be the totality of my viewing. Something called me back towards the lava field around the volcano before I went back to my accommodation. It was dark and uneven and probably the not the smartest move to be wandering around on my own, but after about ten minutes or so of doing so, the Northern Lights were directly overhead for about another ten minutes. So bright, the best way I’ve ever been able to describe it is like a flashlight in the sky. Just me, in a pitchblack lava field in Iceland, and the most vivid green lights I’ve ever seen. I’m so lucky to have seen that.
1964- Two of our classes from the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this American School on the Peshawar, Pakistan Air Force base took a field trip to see the Buddhas in the Bamiyan Valley of Afghanistan. We traveled in a rickety school bus in questionable condition over the long, winding dirt highway. (This was before it was paved and given guard rails.) We probably drove the driver mad with our loud singing of 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. I’m not sure it was related, but the bus driver scared us to death! He would drive so close to the edge as we climbed the curvy Himalayan mountain that we could see over the side where wrecked trucks and busses lay. Kids would yell “Move back to the other side!” hoping to shift the weight to the mountain wall side. Nothing shuts up a group of 12-yr-olds like that sight did (for a while). We had to stop when faced with any oncoming vehicles when one of us had to back up until the road could fit us both. There were hardly any straight parts, so we had to do a blind reverse around the curves. It was a lonnng drive, but not as long as the return trip over the same highway. 😀
We spent the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills 1st QB Ever With A Passing, Rushing and Receiving TD’s In The Same Game Poster shirt but in fact I love this night in Kabul, which is a story in itself. The next day, we were climbing through the cave system next to the tallest Buddha. There was still color from the ceiling frescoes painted by monks long ago. The caves were connected, so we kept climbing until we finally came out on top of the Buddha’s head. In those days rules were fairly greatly relaxed, so common sense was the only thing keeping the braver kids from falling off the 174-foot Buddha. “Don’t push! “I’m not pushing, you are!” I don’t remember where the chaperones were, but not on the head! After a day of crawling around in the caves, we went back to our hotel (there’s another story there), sat in a circle under a very tall ceiling that held one lightbulb on a wire and a slow-moving ceiling fan, and drank hot green tea while we learned some history about Bamiyan and the Buddhas. A good time was had by all!
