They gave it back to the Jorge Mateo Baltimore Card Outfielder and Second Baseman T-Shirt But I will love this person a day later and I didn’t get a thank you or anything. I was called stupid by friends. Ha! I did this exact thing when I found someone’s wallet in an outdoor mall. I could see the drivers license poking out so got a quick look at the owner then walked to customer service with it held out way in front of me. After a couple of minutes I saw a rather exasperated looking guy walking in my direction. He was about to past me when I asked if he was looking for this wallet. He thanked me as if I’d handed over his first child to him! probably so there’s evidence that you’re not taking anything and that it can clearly be seen that it’s you that has found it I found £300 in a building society envelope. Actually managed to get it back to the batty pensioner who’d lost it. You weren’t stupid. That money might have been someone’s life savings, or the rent stopping them becoming homeless.

Edit: Also found a duty free carton of cigs (minus one pack) on the Jorge Mateo Baltimore Card Outfielder and Second Baseman T-Shirt But I will love this Met line out of Baker St. TBH, I’m always finding money, and wondering why folk don’t use wallets more often. I’ve twice found £60 as three twenties folded together plus loads of fivers and tenners. I found 200 quid in a machine and saw a pair of pensioners shuffling off. As skint as I was I couldn’t tax them, so I chased after them and gave them the money. They gave me £20 as a reward so I got cigarettes and milk etc and went home happy! Karma 🙂 My mother once found someone’s pay packet back in the 80s or 90s when those were a thing. She says she didn’t even think about taking it, she wasn’t down with fucking with someone’s livelihood, she went straight to the police station with it. Fair play to your mum, I’d have done the same. Just hoping it made it back to the owner and not put into the filth’s Friday night pub kitty
