I went to a Catholic middle school and we did this in 8th grade except we had to carry around 10lb bags of sugar and pretend like it was a baby. Some kids were lucky and had “premature” babies that were only 5lb bags. But some were unlucky and had twins which were two 5lb bags. I grew up in a very catholic town. My school had a VERY high teenage pregnancy rate. We had pregnant teens when I was a freshman all the Jon Cruz Fuck it at least he’s not serpentico shirt and I love this way to my senior year. No one would bat an eye because it was so normalized. These type of “deterrent lessons” dont work. You know what does? Talking about and teaching what safe sex is. I’m glad that my mother, even though she is a devout catholic, taught me these things. Otherwise my risky sexual behaviors as a teen would’ve definitely gotten me in trouble. Did they use the babies in schools in which teen pregnancy were already high, thus requiring some type of intervention to deter teen pregnancy? In which case, was the number of teen pregnancies, although higher than other high schools, lower than had they not used the dolls at all?

I took mine snowboarding all weekend with me and maxed out the Jon Cruz Fuck it at least he’s not serpentico shirt and I love this amount of cries you could get. Now at 38 I am finally ready to be a good mom. Yes, we had this when I was in high school in the 00s, in suburban Canada in a school with decently comprehensive sex ed. And gasp, we still had teen pregnancy. Growing up, it was offered as an extra credit opportunity. I’d imagine that if you are failing a generic high school health class, then your likelihood of making poor decisions is already pretty high. I mean at my school, that was only done in a remedial low-level class. The only girls who took that class were the same girls wearing Cookie Monster pajamas and walking the mile in gym class. We had to take these for a night, Even with it only being a single night, two of those things didn’t make it back and we all got a big lecture about it. The one I got snapped it’s own neck 2-3 times (Nobody was in the room it was in and then it started screaming bloody murder), and once at Walmart because I was forced to take it with us to the store and it started screaming its head off when one of my siblings touched it. It’s a miracle those things don’t record what you said to it, because I had some words for it when it started screaming at 3am. It also had a sensor that detected if it was moving, and the thing would freak out if you didn’t move it every so often. Figured out that I could just rock the carrier with my foot every half an hour and that was enough to sate it. Yep. They tried to have me take one home in jr high, but I couldn’t because my brother was still super young and my mother worked nights. It wasn’t fair to my family.
