I’m from England, so excuse this ignorant foreigner, but that gives me a better understanding of the Joe Kelly Fight Club Meme On Field shirt Additionally,I will love this way Europeans think. I married an American, and lived in the south (Kentucky) for 2.5 years before very recently moving to Oregon. I’ve had plenty of conversation with people on all sides of the political spectrum and have learnt a lot about the different beliefs and ideas people have on each party, as well as their reasoning. Here’s the thing, America is big. When I say big, I don’t just mean that everything geographically is distant, I mean the lifestyles too. It’s easy to be a democrat here in the city of Portland, where everyone shares your ideology of progressiveness. I met a farm owner out in the middle of Appalachia, to my surprise he wasn’t the hateful image of a hard right republican that many told me they would be out in this region, he was actually very respectful, very understanding of other’s world views. But when it came to his family, his lifestyle and his needs, he was right in that the policies of democrats did nothing to support these poorer regions, at least not directly. He could accept too that most people in these regions did not want outside support to begin with.

There is an element to family here too, where some families have always voted republican and their kids shall too, call it a family tradition. Moving into Trump however, the Joe Kelly Fight Club Meme On Field shirt Additionally,I will love this reason for his success I found was due to his ability to speak directly to these people. I say directly but what I mean to say is, indirectly. To the eyes of many poorer regions of America who felt forgotten by the current system, he shook things up and called it broken. This resonated with those groups, and it was simply the stars aligning that he was also republican so they wouldn’t have to alter their family identities. Funnily enough, the biggest similarities I found between both sides of America is that they all agree the system is broken. Here was a very jarring Trump experience for me though. I was a first generation born immigrant into the UK. My family had immigrated from Sudan, a country Trump banned from travelling and had called awful names. My family, despite having no reason to hold an opinion on American politics, and had never had an opinion on American politics before, openly told me they support Trump.
