His Brother was a ranger and was in the shit the whole time, and he said he would have done it all over again before he set foot in a coal mine again We had a guy in my unit in bootcamp that put on 30 pounds of weight because he’d been kicked out of his home at 16 and had been malnourished for the past 2 years. Son! I said no killing Japs until you’re at least 16!!! Now get to your room and give me those damn medals! You can get them back when you’re not grounded. I get discharging him and sending him home but why strip his medals. If anything, his age makes those metals even more deserved lol
