For some people saying this post is fake and my parents never said that, well I mean, that’s fair. My parents are conservative and these conversations are common among them and other relatives, no matter how absurd. For those fearing my safety, I’m fine. My parents don’t really hate gay people and one of their friends is gay and has a husband. They just think conservatively and want to “protect kids.” They are very transphobic though and will often say heinous things about trans people. I’m closeted because I don’t really think now’s the Jim Leyland An Amrican Baseball Player in Miami Marlins T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this best time to be open, I want to focus on other things and getting through education. Whenever I hear people say, “how do I explain this to my kids?” I really wonder how inept they could be at explaining anything if they can’t even explain that. Like if their kid asked, “why does the sun come up every day?” Are they just going to short circuit in agony due to how hard of a question that is?

Whenever I hear people say, “how do I explain this Jim Leyland An Amrican Baseball Player in Miami Marlins T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this to my kids?” I really wonder how inept they could be at explaining anything if they can’t even explain that. It falls apart when you actually see and meet a gay person and realize “Oh they’re just like us, except they love another man/woman.” When I was 6 I asked my father what “gay” meant and he simply told me “there are some men who fall in live with another man and some women who fall in love with another woman.” and this explanation was 100% fine with me. Children don’t care! No, unfortunately you don’t have to explain that to a kid, you just have to tell them that a sexual relationship between two men or two women is wrong over and over again and after a couple of years they don’t question that anymore. Or it will be much much harder for them to question and overcome that idea.
