As someone who played a pure int build the Jim hopper stranger things shirt in addition I really love this main complain is having some sort of wheel to swap between spells. Having to scroll past 10 spells to get to the one you want is pain. If I had a gun with only one bullet, and I was trapped in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and Torrent, I’d shoot Torrent twice. I don’t know who’s to blame, but e.g. lightinings were much better. You can’t move while casting bolts, even slowly, you don’t feel the recoil from casting spells. Recovery time is laaarge. It feels more like ds2 for me, and it’s pretty bad. Your char is turret-doll, not combat caster. I’ll be honest my only criticism is near the end of the game. I loved that in the first few hours of the game, you’re filled with a sense of wonder and exploration, and when you take down a strong enemy, you feel really proud of yourself. This feeling kind of stays until after Morgott and Lyendell.

I wish they would’ve focused more on the combat mechanics and the parry system
