The conflict between what the Jethro Tull Aqualung T-Shirt in contrast I will get this federal government can control vs. what decisions should be left to the states to decide independently is as old as the country itself. The over reliance on the Commerce Clause to dictate that the feds should be able to proscribe basically any activity in any state is one of the great injustices of our history. That clearly wasn’t the intent of that clause, as any reading would give you. Now we are schizophrenic since about debating what remains a legit state level interest vs. what should be a federally managed interest. The fact is that the Constitution was written and designed as a collection of individual states to serve as a collective international interest, but there are a lot of strategic reasons to have strong federalism, that has cause this schizophrenic shift about what we really are.

Compare abortion rights to gun rights. Its clear that the Jethro Tull Aqualung T-Shirt in contrast I will get this founders wanted to limit the ability for states to prevent the formation of militias for national security. They specifically cite a well regulated militia! The trend line toward theocratic dictatorship and the fact they have the word “supreme” as their title description and that they wear black robes, I’m kind of thinking they’re more like Mullahs and Ayatollahs now. It’s also based on following a constitution that was made by rich white men in a time when women, blacks, Asians, LGBTQ or really any minorities had no rights (or much worse). So saying that you can’t do anything that doesn’t fit into the original constitution should immediately disqualify a judge in 2022. We are moving backward for no reason. Alito cites 14th Amendment in his leaked opinion, but the 14th explicitly excludes the unborn. The 14th’s opening paragraph, “All persons born or naturalized…”, applies to women as a subset of people born who are to be granted rights and specifically excludes the unborn.
