Have a close friend who was watching our dog and cat once. I told her to scoop the Jesus Took Naps Be Like Jesus Vintage shirt in contrast I will get this litter box everyday. Her and I have both worked in animal boarding facilities and she regularly house/petsits for people AND she has a cat herself so I wasn’t worried. Well a few days into my trip she texts me to say my cat peed on her coat. I felt so bad and I was so confused. He only pees if his litter is dirty/if there isn’t enough litter in the pan. I told her this and she said she must’ve not given him enough litter. I felt a little better now that I knew he probably didn’t have a UTI or anything, so I let it go at the time. Well we came back and I went to clean the litter boxes for the first time. Sure enough, I looked in and saw that there was no way she had been scooping everyday like I’d asked her to. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t the instructions I’d given and you could tell she hadn’t kept up with it like I’d asked. She’s still great with my dog so I still ask her to petsit when needed, but I kind of side eye her about some stuff now. At least she hopefully learned her lesson after getting her coat ruined Agreed. I have two cats and they each got their own box that gets cleaned daily. This is repulsive. Some people should not have animals n

Yeah. My cat will try to escape outside, and / or pee on the Jesus Took Naps Be Like Jesus Vintage shirt in contrast I will get this carpet, if I don’t scoop his litter box every day. One of ours will protest pee on the floor next to the litter box if it is not clean enough for her standards lol. Idk how people just let them go like this other than they just don’t give a flying fuck I guess my sister who’s legally blind also does it once a day. this person is just lazy and a poor owner. should have its cat taken off of him. are you not supposed to? new to cats & rescued 3. I clean it daily, sometimes 2x a day, depending on how it smells. since you have three cats, it’s also ideal to have more than one litter box. the recommendation is usually one per cat, plus an extra. I can’t speak to what you are supposed to do as I haven’t heard every day before, we scoop the litter boxes twice a week and change the litter entirely every week or sometimes every two. Our little gal Penny has had this routine for years and has never had any health issues, but she is very clean and buries everything deeply, she also has two boxes which she alternates using. I’m betting the above comment is completely correct and will ask my vet next time we see them. If it should be a daily thing I’ll be splurging the money on one of those fancy litter boxes that self cleans though. I clean my two boxes 4 times a day. I have 3 cats. Sometimes I put the scoop under their assholes to catch it and throw it in the toilet.
