Hi police sergeant, I’m American and our badges have ID numbers on them. I noticed that this one doesn’t. Is that standard for the Jason Kelce & D’andre Swift Philadelphia Our Favorite Duo T-Shirt also I will do this UK? What you’ve seen in the images is a warrant card holder or warrant card wallet. It is not an identity document and isn’t required as proof of the officers legitimacy as a police officer. The actual identification documentation is a plastic card of the size of a driving licence or bank card which will have holograms and the image of the officer on. Alarmingly the amount of members of the public who would just accept the wallet badge as identification is very high. I’ve been asked for my identification a number of times over the years and my own one of these wallets opens and the person just accepted it before I even pulled the card out of the pocket inside where it sits.

A few examples of the Jason Kelce & D’andre Swift Philadelphia Our Favorite Duo T-Shirt also I will do this sorts of cards out there are below, but they vary widely. The one thing that’s universal is the hologram on the card and you’re unlikely to have a legitimate card without holograms showing the force crest(s) among other features. You’re unlikely to find any officers willing to hand their card over to you to inspect. It’s a look don’t touch affair as understandably them being lost or stolen is taken pretty seriously.
