It’s certainly not doing the Jamie Millers Cover Broken MemorieS Shirt But I will love this drivers any favors. It’s pretty toxic, and to someone who may be a potential customer, it can be enough to make you think “big nope”. You see all the customer bashing and ‘revenge’ tactics when people don’t tip enough – I used to have the app on my phone but after seeing all that, it’s gone. I’ve been trying to switch over to prepare for the inevitable demise of 3rd party apps and these “suggested” posts, along with the “promoted” posts (ads) have been my biggest annoyance. Thankfully you can turn off the suggested posts in the settings. In the app click the avatar in the top right, go to settings all the way at the bottom, then account setting at the very top, then scroll down to personalized recommendations and turn off home feed recommendations. Unfortunately the promoted posts still show up but at least it gets rid of the suggested stuff that you don’t care about. Who seriously thought that feature was a good idea? The whole point of separate subreddits was to be able to curate your own experience and instead they want to push a bunch of shit you aren’t subscribed to just because you looked at a single post? If I wanted to see that content on my front page I’d follow the sub.

God, thank you. Recently the Jamie Millers Cover Broken MemorieS Shirt But I will love this “see less of this” option doesn’t seem to be working, it just keeps showing me subs I’ve said i don’t want to see over and over Damn. Reading the comments I was like what the jell are they talking about… but I am using Apollo. So of course I only get what I subscribe too… no ads or anything. Nope, I’m seeing this bullshit on RIF as well. They’ve made the feed algorithm much worse in the past few months. That’s weird. I’ve always used Baconreader and have never seen any suggested or promoted posts. I didn’t even realize that was a thing until I tried the official app. The only ads Baconreader has are banner ads which are very easy to distinguish from regular posts and ignore, unlike the way the official app tries to disguise them as regular posts to get you to click on them without realizing it.
