So let’s charge the James Brown 70’s Funk Classics Shirt What’s more,I will buy this person who gave them the gun, too. Make it extremely bad to give a gun to someone who cannot legally have it! Even the most conservative, gun toting people I know immediately lock all their guns safely away if there’s even a chance children will be over. Hopefully these laws will catch anyone that can’t muster that small amount of decency. We ought to treat guns like cars. Registration required for each, and you must obtain a license, and liability insurance. I need a gun for protection having my kids accidentally shoot themselves, accidentally shooting a family member I took for a burglar, murdering my family and commiting suicide. Sorry, were you under the impression that the safe storage law only applies to felons? Allow me to disabuse you of that notion: You see, lots of people own guns. Most of them do not have felonies and are legally allowed to own guns. However, too many of these legal gun owners leave their guns out where children can reach them, which is bad. So now if a gun owner, legal or not, irresponsibly leaves their deadly weapon out and their kid shoots themselves or others, that irresponsible gun owner goes to jail. Or hear me out…. we could actually enforce the many, MANY gun laws we have on the books already instead of creating more feel good laws. 228 more repliesI’m a gun owner. I love guns, shooting, building, cleaning, training, all of it. Love guns. Part of the enjoyment of guns is having a big firearm safe in my bedroom closet where I put all my guns. It’s essentially a consolidated place to put my favorite collection. Also, it locks. When I first got into guns, my first gun safe cost me about 175 dollars. It was not fancy. But it locked. Now my gun safe is about 1200 dollars, and holds about 12,000 dollars of firearms and firearms accessories. Most entry level long guns are going to cost you about 500+ dollars. If you can afford the gun. You can afford the safe. It’s not hard or complicated.

Firearms are amazing tools and a fun hobby and collectors item. They are also exceedingly dangerous if not handled properly. When my wife and I had our first son, we did a thorough audit of our firearms to make sure that we were maintaining and handling them appropriately given that we now had a tiny human with no concept of potential and kinetic energy. I think that if you aren’t responsible with a firearm, you shouldn’t own a firearm. Our rights are also responsibilities. It’s a damn shame that so many people don’t understand that anymore. You have the James Brown 70’s Funk Classics Shirt What’s more,I will buy this right to own a firearm, and the responsibility to be safe with it and use it in a way that benefits society, not harms it. Waiting for all the republicans to come to his defense saying it’s his right to have a loaded and COCKED revolver sitting on the table near the child. Sorry… there is just now a law about safe gun storage?!?! Seriously the US needs to have a collective head shake about guns. What happens there is not normal! I say that as a foreign gun owner.
