Copper is less susceptible to changes in pressure, so it makes more sense in an interchange like what’s pictured. Copper also has a higher temperature limit of 400F, while PEX tops out at 180F. An important factor when a boiler is involved. My dad’s a plumber and its absolutely fucking absurd how often people delay paying him by months. At any given time he probably has multiple people owing him for jobs he did >3 months prior.

That’s about what we’d charge. 225 an hour plus parts. And depending on the cartridge you’d be looking at about a $300+ total. But if you’re not confident you can do it properly, please call a professional. I cannot tell you the amount of times we’ve been called to clean up after a DIYer or someone’s “buddy who can do it cheaper.”

For a start, why so many shut off valves? You shut off the start of the fucking circuit with one valve and do what you need to do lol. You don’t need a valve at the start and end point of every point on the circuit lol. The pump for example has two valves, one on each side. Wtf is the purpose of that? Then all that links into a regular ass boiler…. Its not even industrial. I can’t really think of a single situation where this would be the best way to do anything lol.

With solid walls and multiple floors it is normal here that each floor has it’s own distributor. Is the house a bungalow? Are the walls hollow?
