Same with tomatoes, the Jakob Poeltl Austrian professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors T-Shirt in addition I really love this ones in the US are more watery bc they have been genetically altered to be bigger and ripe longer. I forget the exact numbers and I’m too lazy to look it up, but if human babies gained weight at the rate of the modern factory farmed chicken, the baby would be ~600lbs at one year old. Chickens today are so grotesquely large for their frame that they actually develop medical problems with their legs because they can’t support their own weight. They have been bred to have breasts so big that many start to have trouble walking and the skin around their chest starts to split open while they’re still alive. A cruel monstrosity. Complete side note here but I moved 2,000 miles away from all my mid 40s friends and they all came out to see me for a long weekend. We didn’t wear them out but I bought No Ma’am shirts for all of us to wear while hanging out at my house.

In the Jakob Poeltl Austrian professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors T-Shirt in addition I really love this 50s, a salary of $200 a week was an AMAZING salary ($10 400/y), like exec level in a business office. A shoe salesman was wayyyyy less. The average family income in the US in 1955 was in the $4200 range, if BOTH man and woman were working. $3400 a year was an average year salary for a man, while women were making $1100 a year on average. So yeah. What I pay a month in bills now could pay me a whole year and a house in the 50s. It’s suprizing how mentality and time has changed, imo ads are a great reflection of what year we’re in, they each have their styles, products and everything, we can definitely define a time period just by watching ads and THAT amazes me It would be really interesting to see a parody series with the style and tone of these videos showing us a depressingly accurate prediction of the future. DoorDash, Hello Fresh, roommates, squeezing in dinner between two full-time jobs. Best thing I thought was the dry ice cooling lid for cold items, I could use that now, never seen one. Though the double boiler was pretty neat too
