And now there’s the Jaden Springer an American professional basketball player philadelphia 76ers T-Shirt also I will do this ongoing costs. Ongoing therapy, because PTSD is definitely something that happens, and not just for her. Anti-depressants and sleep aids as needed. Follow up visits with her oncologist, starting once per month at the beginning, and getting further apart as time goes on, to check for relapse – which is probably always going to be there at the back of our minds. A yearly echocardiogram, because some of her chemo drugs were cardiotoxic, and late effects can show up decades later. Chemo destroyed her hip joint, so a year of working with the orthopedic surgeon to try to avoid surgery, and then having to do the surgery anyway – she got a total hip replacement last year at the ripe old age of 19. Even things like needing to go in to the doctor for blood tests because a cold lasted longer than expected, and it’s *probably* nothing, but that’s also how a relapse could present. So we check, because it’s the only way to sleep at night.

Of course, health insurance covers a lot of this, but it turns out to be cheaper in the Jaden Springer an American professional basketball player philadelphia 76ers T-Shirt also I will do this long run for us to go with a high deductible plan. So we will be paying 5-6k out of pocket every year, guaranteed, before insurance covers everything else for the foreseeable future. And then there are other indirect costs, as well. Health insurance and life insurance are going to be a problem for her for decades. And every single penny was and remains completely worth it, because 4.5 years later, and she’s still here and doing wonderfully! She’s an amazing person, and teaches me a lot every single day. Did a study abroad trip in Shanghai pre-covid. Specifically asked the receptionist at check in my dorm that I got to stay during big holiday breaks and he said yes, I didn’t have to move out. Low and behold, Chinese New Year comes around and my key card to my dorm stops working. When I asked, I was told that I had 6 days to move out for 3 weeks. Ended up slapping together the most haphazardly thrown together ‘vacation’ I’ve ever planned. All in all I spent about an extra 3K on that trip alone. Even tho the situation wasn’t exactly ideal, I wouldn’t change much about the trip and it’s one of the best memories/stories I have.
