Louis Rossman has SEVERAL great videos about shitty real estate practices in NYC, specifically. Just because people frequently get away with it doesn’t mean it is legal nor correct. ‘Regular behavior’ like bribing Florida lawmakers to introduce a bill eliminating property taxes because your developments are not selling fast enough and god forbid an investment loses money. He’s not wrong. I worked for a NYC real estate guy decades ago. There was no such thing as truth, it was just whatever he needed you to believe that day. The guy never admitted to being wrong about anything. Dealt with prostitutes as part of his business. Claimed credit for things that there was no way they were his. Cheated at everything. I left that job when someone said to me “You’ve been working here almost a year. You must be just like him to last this long.” Imagine being part of a family like that! Time to charge all the real estate developers!!! Drag them all down from their lofty self important thrones. Fucking crooks.

Sounds like he is just saying that real estate developers are shiesty fuckers as a baseline. 632 more repliesRich people convincing the It’s Weird Being The Same Age As Old People Christmas T-Shirt In addition,I will do this poor masses that corrupt rich people behavior is normal. The poor masses believe it. They stay poor and the rich stay rich. He’s right. An opinion of value is not a crime. When you go to sell something you own or borrow against it to you it may be worth X, the bank or buyer may say it’s worth Y, and you might even be required to get an appraisal. This happens every single day and it’s not a crime. He’s not wrong, standard practice doesn’t mean it’s proper, just that it’s what happens. Just a lot harder to get away with it when you’re damn near if not the most hated man in the country. Every single day when you buy something the price is what the seller says it is worth. You as the buyer may think it has a different value. It doesn’t mean either of you are lying or committing a fraud. You can both have a difference of opinion on the value. Yeah. I don’t want any presidential candidate at this point. Ask yourself. Truly. As a human… How confident are you with any presidential candidate at this point? Think they have your best interest? Really? I’d like to see EVERYONES investment portfolio at this point. All politicians.
