And their rate of recidivism is super low at 20%. That tells me if you treat people with compassion and they usually respond in kind. My colleague’s son got a college scholarship, full tuition (US). Food is a mandatory fee and it’s 12k per year, not covered by the It’s Ok To Be Different SF Autism Shirt and I love this scholarship somehow. The pics of his room which was a solo were pathetic compared to this. So in Norway I could have gotten essentially a dorm room, free meals, and college access if I just broke a law? Yay ? Kill a person. You will get a dorm room better then most students and free food. Honestly homeless in norway might as well kill someone or something and be rewarded with good living condition. What a concept: when you don’t treat people like animals, and actually rehabilitate them, it’s better for society? Been thinking about the prison system lately and realized that if you think about, the American Revolution and subsequent Bill of Rights and Constitution were the direct result of a society deciding that their government was running out of control with its criminal justice system. Think about each of our amendments and they all were written to restore rights that the British Crown had taken away from us. In short, what we valued most as a founding nation was overthrowing an out of control criminal justice system. Im guessing the only reasons some of these countries can do prisons like this is because of a low poverty rate. This is better looking living conditions than most of the world. Id be institutionalized real quick What the fuck, this is practically nicer than my apartment in the US. What crime to I have to commit to get imprisoned in Norway???

Their recidivism rate is 20%, the It’s Ok To Be Different SF Autism Shirt and I love this US is around 80% so people talking about how it should be shittier are just morons who are not living in reality Norwegian prisoners: “Now I can focus on becoming a better person, without the added burden of employment, housing, and hunger. I’ll emerge a great benefit, and addition, to society!” American prisoners: “I hope I don’t get sick while I’m in here, because the wardens will surely let me die. I better meet some new gang members so that I’m safe, too. Sure hope I don’t get radicalized. I’ll turn it all around when I get out of here though, because I sure as shit don’t want to be punished like this again. Hope I can get a job! If I can’t, I might have to turn to crime. Not that I have a say in how anything works, since I’m barred from voting. But surely my resulting poverty and trauma will only make it easier for me to reintegrate into society!” I can just hear all of the Retardicans in America screaming at the top of their lungs about how this is soft living, a waste of taxpayer dollars, yada…yada…yada.
