I relate to everything, except the It’S Not A Dad Bod It’S A Father Figure Fathers Day Mountain T-Shirt but in fact I love this last point since I’m not autistic, and I definitely agree with you. It’s apparently so wrong to say “I don’t like children”, well, I’m sorry but I don’t like them. I didn’t have kids for this reason. I’m also bipolar. I could not give kids the time and patience they require. My husband was always ok with that….long as he was with me. Bar university and his career (in mid 40s) we do whatever we want. Our lives look like everyone else’s we just don’t have kids and have a lot more money to spend. So we treat ourselves well. I never wanted kids. I knew I’d be a shitty parent. I don’t miss them because I don’t think about them because they were never a thought in my world. I can remember panicking around 20 thinking I had to have them….it was horrible. Took a lot to push against societal pressure to have them.

Do what’s good for you. Don’t cut yourself off from the It’S Not A Dad Bod It’S A Father Figure Fathers Day Mountain T-Shirt but in fact I love this possibility….like don’t write it in stone. I never played with dolls….didn’t do anything female typical….and just never wanted kids. I made the right choice for me. This is something deeply personal you must navigate through. My parent is bipolar and she has traumatized me for years. I’m not saying you’d ever be the same but you’re a good person for thinking through the possibilities. Yup, all I hear from my friends with kids is “sorry I can’t make it” or “I’m really pissed we can’t go this year” or in literal tears “I wish I could still hang out like we used to” Honestly , congratulations on realising that having kids might not be good for you. If more people realized that, maybe the world wouldn’t be such a fucked up place.
