I set a ‘custom’ ringtone (one that came built into the It’s A Philly Thing Philadelphia Eagles Skyline Shirt and I love this phone), but honestly, I don’t care. I hate talking on the phone, rarely make outgoing calls, and 99% of any incoming calls I do receive are spam. I’d love to change my ringtone, but I can’t be bothered to pay additional money for them. I’m not a fan of the micro transaction climate we are in now. Most people just use silent mode now. Non offense intended, but the only time I hear any ringtones the person is usually at least 50. … kinda busy, I’m kinda busy, sorry I cannot hear you I’m kinda busy – Stop calling stop calling, I don’t wanna talk anymore Lmao 26 here and I still assign ringtones to my friends and frequently change up my regular ringtone for random calls Because I realize I slowly come to hate whatever sound I set as a ringtone. I could save time by just using a ringtone I already hate, but that doesn’t seem like a great help. I just run it mute. I haven’t had my ring tone on for about 3 years. Check my voicemail about once every six months. Always just spam calls. People still use ringtones?? That’s news to me. I thought everyone used their phone on silent these days. Having said that I remember right after high school I had ringtones from Meteora album by Linkin Park on high volume on my Nokia. I thought I was so cool… oh the cringe.

My ringtone is the It’s A Philly Thing Philadelphia Eagles Skyline Shirt and I love this Doctor Who Season 5 theme. Which it has been for 12 years. But my phone has also been perpetually on silent since at least 2015. I set this as my ringtone many years ago and I’ve kept it ever since. Personally I think it’s the perfect ringtone. I made it that when I got my first phone 10 years ago, now a days I only hear it when I lve lost it and have to ask google to make it ring My ringer has been on silent/vibrate since 2007. I don’t think I cbf to change it since I never hear it anyway. dunno bout you, but everyone in my contacts list has a specific song for their ringtone that i took from my music library. All unknown callers have a specific but same song, too. I like to customize everything, and it makes it easy to notice who’s calling without looking at my phone. I usually set a fun Christmas ringtone when I remember on like December 23rd and remember to change it to something else around February. Other than that I tend to keep it simpler now. A couple years ago I would use video game or movie sound effects. I just don’t think about it anymore. You can pry the Magnum PI theme ringtone from my cold dead hands. It’s been my ringtone on my phone’s going back to the LG Dare.
