We got 100 and only 15 are good. And that’s being generous. I was hardly in any. The ones I was in, I looked ridiculous. I was mid blink or making a weird facial expression. He absolutely butchered the It Was Me Johnny Hopkins Sloan Will Ferrell Step Brothers T-Shirt in contrast I will get this edits. He even gave my baby dark eye brows in some randomly. There is probably 30 pictures alone of my baby actively CRYING in the photo, plus 20 or so of his looking so sad and miserable. Ugh. They are just terrible. The whole experience was terrible. The worst part of all this was he made us pay before hand and my MIL paid for us as a gift! I feel so terrible. I feel like she completely wasted her money! I have absolutely no idea how to even approach this! Never in my wildest of dreams did I expect this to go so poorly. He should’ve told you he is inexperienced with newborns/family and declined your business. I had newborn photoshoots with both of my kids and the photographer gave instructions about having the room extra warm to help the baby stay comfy, have milk/formula ready for any feedings. have extra diapers ready for quick changes. And most importantly she had a shush machine thingy so we all listened to soft white noise for a couple of hours.

Everything you described about your guy is an unprofessional nightmare. Get your money back or get a reshoot. And you can always leave an honest review for him and publish the It Was Me Johnny Hopkins Sloan Will Ferrell Step Brothers T-Shirt in contrast I will get this pics with his watermark. Based on what you described he should be ashamed of his work, and if he’s not, your experience could help others not go through the same thing Our newborn photographer dos all of those things too. She books newborn sessions for 4 hours to make sure baby gets lots of chances to eat, sleep, be changed, be soothed, and whatever else they need between shots. She also had little tricks to get him to sleep, which we ate up being new parents. But what i do remember is that she would trace her finger in little eye glass figure eights around his eyes and they would just magically close. She also lightly ran her finger down from the middle of his forehead to his nose slowly, repeatedly. Baby is 5 months old now, and they don’t work so much anymore, but he still smiles when i do it if he’s tired. If he’s wide awake, he usually tries to eat my finger lol.
