With such witty self awareness and a pleasantly delightful way with words, I feel you’re wasted in your job and you should be writing self “help” books for the Isaiah Joe American professional basketball Oklahoma City Comic T-Shirt in other words I will buy this fuckwits of twitter who feel the need to preach to us all about how wonderful and proper their life is and how we’re all doing it wrong, all done without any inner monologue telling them to STFU. And that just because you do have an opinion that doesn’t mean people want to hear it. Sounds like you blazed the trail for my job. I’m in my 20s and this could be a page out of my diary. I talk in circles, slap together a halfhearted Excel formula here and there, and stretch what could be a 15 minute training session into a 30 page manual that nobody will ever read. I work from home and on busy days I barely get through a book, or I’m restricted to 5 hours on the PlayStation. Bastards.

I do have to live with the Isaiah Joe American professional basketball Oklahoma City Comic T-Shirt in other words I will buy this dread that one day someone will come in and realise my role is pretty much pointless in its current form, and either make me work for a living or throw me out on my ear. But I’m comforted by the fact that literally everyone else in the company, including my boss and their boss and all of my colleagues, are equally pointless; nobody could unravel the spools of bullshit tying it all together. Safety in numbers I guess. There’s some level of omerta that binds us; my boss can’t call me out for doing nothing because I could do the exact same thing to them. Jesus, here I am working 50hrs a week just to survive, and some people create work because they don’t have enough can’t say I’m proficient with excel beyond creating a self employed tax sheet for the missus but I can sure make easy things sound complicated or complicated things sound easy
