People just want to get through their day and they’re going to primarily be focusing on that and themselves. You and any mistakes or embarrassments that you think you’ve made (outside of something actually serious like breaking the Is this jolly enough dunkin’ coffee symbol jack skellington grinch shirt Additionally,I will love this law) are quickly forgotten, go unnoticed, or weren’t wrong to begin with most of the time. Definitely don’t stress about it. Just enjoy what you have now. If you ever want to, make some plans for your future. My advice would be to along the way try to pick up a few basic life skills, it’ll take the stress off when you enter the real world (like get your license, learn to cook, even taxes lol). But don’t waste your youth stressing about how difficult adulthood is. Don’t forget the pressure you were under- you had to learn new things, and then it was immediately put to the test and how well you did could decide your entire future. Pretty much. I just want to add that a lot of people are forgetting just how much pressure we were on back then- sure, the work might have been easy compared to the stuff we do later, but how well we did literally decided the outcome of the rest of our lives. Having a job might be harder but by definition, you are qualified for your job. You’re using a skillset you have to do things you’ve done before, more or less. School wasn’t like that, you were learning new things constantly and then immediately putting that knowledge to the test in a competitive and high-pressure environment. Maybe I was just a studious kid but the constant demand to improve put a lot of stress on my mental health, and my upbringing didn’t exactly help. High school me was at times deeply suicidal. I’m doubtful that if I had to do it again that I’d make it through it all.
