Even though doctors work 100x harder and are 1000x more qualified than any NP, I have never heard one say anything along the Irish Diplomacy The Ability To Tell Someone Go To Hell Old Irish Proverb T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this lines of ‘I’m always right! My job, my way!’ These mid-levels have no humility. I wouldn’t want someone with that attitude to participate in my medical care. I worked with a new grad NP in urgent care who had a similar sign. I refused to speak to her, make eye contact, or acknowledge her existence in any way. She asked the MA why I hated her. Told her it was the sign. She refused to take it down but it magically disappeared one day. Nurses love propaganda signage. We had one prominently displayed in front the ICU. “God’s angels in comfortable shoes”. Imagine doctors doing that ? See if they actually had the brain of a doc they would know that not everything can be “stat”. The hospital or practice would cease functioning.

Why does no one call out the Irish Diplomacy The Ability To Tell Someone Go To Hell Old Irish Proverb T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this people who peddle that first statement? I know they’re just trying to make it sound like doctors are heartless but it’s like they haven’t considered that it makes nurses sound brainless. Stupidity is not exclusive. I’m certain that every single profession on this planet has at least one case of stupid to display. I do, however, agree that this is a real piece of work. It brings me to mind of the many cringe sayings I maybe seen plastered all over vehicles, t-shirts, cups, mugs, and other assorted paraphernalia of nurses that work in the ER. Why is it that ER nurses always think they are so intelligent, so much better than every other area of nursing? Maybe ER nurses are the missing link in the evolution of the noctor. I’m lucky to work with some fairly modest ER nurses and it’s just easy to say, “oh you’re andm ICU nurse? Well that really complicated patient you got today was mine for 8 hours before they came to you.” The same goes for ICU nurses. “Oh you’re in the *scoff* step down unit. That’s cute, hun.”
