Dealing with another woman like my sons mom. I am almost turned off by the International Beer Day T-Shirt but in fact I love this idea of ever having another kid. I love my son though. Also, I have nothing against women And I know every person is different. It’s just that my experience has been so awful that I don’t want to give anyone the opportunity to use my child against me again. My family is riddled with cancer and I wouldn’t want to put a kid through what I went through losing my parents and then grandfather to cancer. Watching other people break down in tears in the middle of a Walmart aisle because this is the 7th place they’ve stopped at and no one has their baby formula is scary and stressful as shit. Having toxic parents especially a toxic mother. I hate Mother’s Day. Everybody celebrates but I hate it so much. It is the holiday everyone assumes everyone is celebrating their mothers. Fuck that. My fiance and I are nowhere near the mindset to be good parents at this point. I refuse to take the advice of the boomers that no one is ever ready. Bull fucking shit. It’s called planning. But also I don’t think I could morally justify bringing a kid into this world. I personally hate it here, my genetics are “meh” and this world breaks people down. I couldn’t bring a kid into this world that would go through all those things and probably more. Especially with an uncertain future. I’m financial not well off. I’m well aware what I was like growing up (I’m aware that there are different parenting styles). I think about the world today and what world would be like as they grow as an adult. I can barely take care of myself right now.

I was adopted, me mum was around 45 when she adopted me. There’s also that option, adopting if I do want a kid. Sometimes you don’t get the International Beer Day T-Shirt but in fact I love this choice, an accident is quite common what you do after the news is up to you I guess. Genetics, and the fact that I come from a long line of bad dads. Oh, also I’m just barely figuring out how to take care of myself, and I’m dogshit at it. My childhood was messed up and I’m still reconciling it all. God knows I’m in no position to parent a child, and that’s before I even take the financing into account. Just simply don’t. A S/O would have to convince me otherwise. Would need to be at least 30 before I’d consider it. In just about every avenue in life I’m in there’s always someone talking about custody of their kid and how difficult it can be to manage High maternal mortality rates. High delivery costs. Lack of adequate parental leave. High cost of daycare. Low value placed on actually raising a family by society at large. A)I hate them B)I’m poor enough already C)I’m utter genetic trash and continuing my line even if I could attract someone would make me feel horribly guilty.
