Maybe record her on video and warn her that you may publish the Indiana Hoosiers Ncaa Ho Ho Ho Christmas Shirt but in fact I love this proofs of her hostile behavior if she continues? I’ve had the most vile hate turned on me, I had my husband being accused of disgusting things (my husband has nothing to do with my work) , my kids threatened and in general all round unpleasantness from people I work with. Humans unfortunately suck, all you have to do is walk away. In this case “oh I’m sorry, if you change your mind I’m over there” and walk away, now she’s making compliants just stick to the facts and it’ll go away People act like being called racist is the worst thing ever. Just respond as you would to any other name calling. Take a sec think if it applies and if not move on. If it does sort it out I agree with them. Anyone who calls someone racist, you cannot change their mind. They will stick with it. For many it’s a go to answer for anything. They call me a racist, I say I know and just keep walking. It’s hard to convince someone that someone isn’t racist. If they believe you are, I say your right, take care. It really floors them if you won’t argue with them. Takes the power right out of the word. One lady said you admit it, you can’t be racist. I said well you said I am, it’s not against the law so take it easy.l

It has, in the Indiana Hoosiers Ncaa Ho Ho Ho Christmas Shirt but in fact I love this last four years doing my job, been my duty to direct people into where they need to go to accomplish this. For this story, I’m white and the people that I’ve come toe to toe with are black. I’m the only whiten person in my area. I’m also ND, so I come off as blunt/rude when I really don’t mean to because I struggle to communicate in a way most people understand.
