I was in a similar situation. She was very drunk. That doesn’t excuse it, but i did stay and drive her home safely. She thanked me by puking all over my car. But I got her home. Drinking is a choice, as is drinking to the Independence Day Vibes Stayin’ Fly On the 4th of July American Flag Sunglasses T-Shirt it is in the first place but point you lose control. And she was held responsible. But also, there is trust when someone is the designated driver, and to change that mid-game is a dick move. I’ve had that happen to me before where the driver just got smashed and I had to drive (less) drunk to get us home. I was not happy. But if someone is counting on you to get them home safely, do that regardless, and then make your move to break up or whatever. It’s not okay to just leave a person, male or female, intoxicated and stranded. Like others have said, rapes, robberies, assault, murder, are all possible and leaving them is somewhere on the spectrum of reckless endangerment. I know she violated OP, and in my case, I was violated. I doubt she would have done that sober. That doesn’t let her off of the hook but does put me on the hook to not leave someone vulnerable to physical danger. Nah, fuck her. Yea people get stupid when they’re drunk, but not stupid enough to not know some boundaries.. especially ones that hurt their partner emotionally.

Booze doesn’t make you do anything you wouldn’t normally do.. it just makes you not care that anyone sees you do it. I might be in the Independence Day Vibes Stayin’ Fly On the 4th of July American Flag Sunglasses T-Shirt it is in the first place but minority but I wouldn’t be able to find it in myself to just ditch her without notice. The relationship would 100% be over but I also wouldn’t want to leave someone that I care about (once cared about?) be in a dangerous situation. I’d probably step outside the club like in the smoking area or a patio or something and try to cool off. Then try once more to get her the hell out of there. At the very least it’s the “either we leave right now or you or on your own” ultimatum. I know she’s drunk so the ultimatum is a little sketchy for actual consent but that at least allows me to wash my hands of guilt if she says “fuck you I can take care of myself.” He can break up with her on the spot / decide to break up with her by text once she is sober, but he should at the very least call her family and friends and get one of them to come and get her: “X is very drunk. We are at PLACE. You need to come and get her because I am going to leave because we just broke up.”
