Really shit part is that all restaurants that take orders from Deliveroo etc prioritise them cos they are penalised if the In This Moment Godmode shirt so you should to go to store and get this driver has to wait. But they are not penalised if they keep the walk-in customer waiting. Same as when assistants behind counters answer the phone in the middle of dealing with the customer in front of them. My local Subway actually used to be quite good. Then it got overrun by takeaway orders that were being given priority over humans in the queue. Haven’t been back there in months. Same thing here, walked in to a subway with no que and they said it will be about a 20 minute wait as they have got four large app orders to do, never been back since, the prices have gone up massively more as well I wouldn’t pay it.

Some places here have just gone uber eats only now, which is bizarre, given they still operate at a restaurant premesis, just you can’t go in and they just use the In This Moment Godmode shirt so you should to go to store and get this kitchen Absolutely. Working to a fixed timescale, and had 30 mins spare. Thought, fuck it, i’ll get a maccies. Ordered on the app and drove to the restaurant from the job site. Got there, pressed “takeaway” on the app (cos eat in my car, sod the public), walked in and was taken away by a two screen setup for the orders, completely filled with Uber Eats orders, to the point that my order wasn’t even on the screen. Ended up having to take my maccies back to the job and eating it there after wasting 20 mins in the restaurant whilst they made all the delivery orders first…
