So when he stayed over at my house, I’d be constantly picking up his shit and clearing up after him. But not cooking. Going into this story I was nervous. I can’t cook, my boyfriend does it all. But I go out of my way to help chop vegetables, take care of the dishes or at least take out the trash. It might still be a burden to do all the cooking but I’m not a child, I don’t need to be told what to do. I can see what needs to be done. After less than a year of dating It’s not wrong to dump someone for any reason. If it’s not a good match, let them go so they can move on.

The guy is totally inept and unwilling to help himself understand the most basic concepts of cooking and cleaning up after himself, you don’t need to parent another child. My husband was raised by a mom who didn’t assign any chores at all but he’s a great cook now from his own learning. What a clickbait title. You didn’t dump him because he couldn’t cook. You dumped him because he didn’t do anything else in addition to that. He wanted you to see how badly the results would be if you asked him to cook or clean.. “oh I’m so incompetent YOU should have never asked me to do this AND since this is such a mess you will probably never WANT to ask me again ha ha” How did he survive before he met you?
