If you are training without a buddy or trainer, it can sometimes be hard to tell how your form is. Recording yourself is the easiest way to do it. Unfortunately, social media has created alot of bad apples. Particularly women doing it to thirst trap, or mock men for staring at them in the most revealing clothes possible. The best solution is probably to ban filming; but so many people would benefit from recording their form and looking back at it. As much as I like Sam Sulek, the gigantic tripod setups are pretty obnoxious. In particular those probably need to go. I work at a gym. Nobody would actually say anything to you if you’re taking a selfie or do a short video, but it disturbs other clients when it is actually a setup. You simply have no right to disturb other people. So, when we see people doing it, we warn them, and add a note to their profile. When it is the third offense, they are banned from the gym. If they do not stop, first time can also end up that way. There are machines that you can use at the corners where you cannot disturb others, so whose areas are marked as ok to take photos and videos. Yes. but then again, I think society should ban all “influencers” as the parasites they are, so I might not have the best perspective.
