Four – I’d take it, but negotiate. If you know the Imagine Dragons 15 Years 2008 – 2023 Signature Thank You For The Memories Signatures shirt so you should to go to store and get this confirmed minimum, propose just above that. If not, I’d counter with 15% more than was offered. Take the role and raise. Ask to clarify why you are under the range and what needs to be done to get within the listed range. You can decide later if you can get there in good time or use your new title to find the next company. You are not just internal. You also lowered the bar. If you know what your skill set is worth, don’t shy away naming it. If the company needs you desperately depending on how the interview went on the final round, they will offer to pay you more than you tendered. Trust me on this one, at least. It’s not too late to revisit this with your HR or Manager if you have completed your 3 to 6 months probation period upon hire. Good luck Maybe we can do a poll? My vote is to speak with the boss and mention the public post pay range and target. I’m giving a huge benefit of the doubt, but maybe this pay range was a way to torpedo outside applicants and guarantee OP the role (since all external applicants will demand way more). Most likely they’re just lowballing OP because they feel they can. Either way, get the increase in title and income, and then go to another company in a bit and make what you’re actually worth.

Was in a similar situation, negotiated higher but because I was internal was only offered 10%. Due not take the Imagine Dragons 15 Years 2008 – 2023 Signature Thank You For The Memories Signatures shirt so you should to go to store and get this job, going from remote to in person during the pandemic. No thank you. Sometimes job posting sites will use AI to estimate a salary range for a role if you don’t physically put one in. Depending on who wrote the original listing, it’s possible it was just an oversight and they didn’t manually put an accurate salary range in (as annoying as that is). ETA – they may not have cared about the precise accuracy of the external job posting if they plan to hire from within anyways Say “that is a very generous offer, but how can I accept this when the targeted salary is advertised as 97+ for other candidates?”
