I bought a new oven, anova precision oven that’s really great except for the fact that the timer doesn’t turn the oven off… I hate that, now I forget to turn it off or sometimes don’t hear the alarm and have my food overcooked 🙁 And when it happens I can usually think back and remember exactly what I got distracted by haha my housemates think it’s hilarious… But they are also kinda stop it..

As someone with ADHD please stop saying that. I may be hella forgetful and my clean clothes are in my second laundry basket, but I’m capable of doing things without having to be told and I’m capable of cooking to save my life because I’m a fucking adult. Ok, as someone who also has ADHD, I won’t. Your experience with it is not the I’m Really A Good Person And If Anybody Tells You Different Ask THem What THey Did To Me Shirt but in fact I love this only experience with it. Not everyone experiences all symptoms of it let alone to the same degree and not everyone that has ADHD is aware that they have it I have ADHD and I used to do that, too. It took some discipline and new habits on my part to change. Now you never see clothes on my floor. My partner sat me down one time and told me he didn’t like the heap of clothes in the bedroom. Sometimes he has to remind me I’m doing it a lot again. But I try a lit more to clean stuff up.
